Deana - Learning beyond the auto mode

This is not a favorite photo, but did learn a lot about the f/stop (which is 8 for this photo) and the ISO (3200). Focusing my learning on the F/stop and ISO gave me an average result with the exposure of 1/40th. The histogram was more left, then centered but this was a better result with the time of day this was taken. I liked the view from the Law Enforcement Memorial - the reflection and the lights of Olympia. I had wanted more of Capital Lake, however the railing from above did not allow for that. Should have walked down the hill for more desirable picture. I found myself manipulating the functions vs moving for the better picture. The focal length is 80 MM.
